Make Beautiful Music Together

Up until 27th November you can bag yourself 2 for 1 on tickets to Britain’s first interactive music exhibition dedicated to the last sixty years of music. BBC Good Food Show

If you’re both foodies, head to the BBC Good Food Show and fill your bellies! There’s Masterchef Live, cookery demonstrations from TV chefs James Martin and Michel Roux Jnr among others, tastings and advice for unusual Christmas tipples, plus you can sample tapas sized dishes from ten of London’s best restaurants including Le Caprice, Launceston Place and Skylon in the Restaurant Experience. It’s on at London’s Olympia from 13-15th November and Birmingham’s NEC on the 25-29th November. Tickets cost £18 in advance from BBC Good Food Show.

Dance On Ice Together

You can be just like Torvill and Dean as you romantically glide hand-in-hand under the stars, surrounded by fairy lights and wrapped up warm at one of the UK’s many outdoor ice rinks. There will be ice rinks opening in November at The Mall at Cribb’s Causeway in Bristol, the Eden Project in Cornwall, Winchester Cathedral, Newcastle, York, Windsor and Somerset House, Hyde Park and at the Tower of London in the capital. Go Go-Karting

For some speedy Saturday afternoon action, take your date go-karting – just don’t run them off the track if you want to see them again! It’s exhilerating, fun and like kiss-chase on wheels if you use your imagination! Find a karting track near you at Driving Experiences

Heckle A Comedian

You certainly won’t be short of a few laughs this November because arenas and theatres across the UK are awash with comedians on the last round of their tours before Christmas. Dazzle Each Other In Durham

Fall for each other under the illuminations at Lumiere, Durham’s spectacular festival of light. For four days from the 12th – 15th of November the city will be magically transformed by more than 50 artists with a breathtaking series of installations and illuminations. Monkey Around Together

Monkey around with your date at the Dorset primate sanctuary. It’s home to over 240 monkeys, 15 different species and 56 chimpanzees which make it the largest group outside of Africa. Visit A Christmas Market

Graze on cinnamon biscuits, sup mulled wine and bring in the festive cheer together at a Christmas market. There’s several taking place from mid-November onwards in Bath, Winchester, Worcester, Canterbury, Leeds, Belfast, Oxford, Portsmouth, Bury St Edmunds, plus London’s Oxford Street and Hyde Park. Celebrate National Curry Week

Take your date out for a ruby murray to celebrate National Curry Week. Did you know cayenne pepper, cloves, coriander, jasmine and mustard seeds are reputedly aphrodisiac foods? The week is organised by the folks who make Cobra lager and participating restaurants donate a percentage of your bill to The Curry Tree Charitable Fund which tackles poverty and suffering across South Asia.
