It’s the first time the iconic street has been closed for a concert, but this is a triple celebration. London’s shopping Mecca is celebrating 180 years of history, its Absolute Radio’s first birthday, and Madness are 30! (Yes, a few of us shuddered at that fact here at JustSingles.com; some of us remember their early years too!)
Regent Street will be partying in style all day with free live performances on the main stage including a rock ‘n’ roll birthday bash hosted by Absolute Radio Breakfast Show DJ Christian O’Connell and Hometime DJ, Geoff Lloyd. A good laugh and plenty to talk about are the ingredients for a great date, and few things are more entertaining than a group of people competing to make a fool of themselves by wrestling in gravy, gurning through a horse collar or attempting to fly from a pier!
